With one of the most all-encompassing views in San Francisco, this apartment was built for our clients to enjoy as much of the view as possible from all vantage points in the space. Starting with infrastructure updates, we opened the apartment up to the base building’s concrete slabs and replaced all the mullioned windows with single-pane insulated glass. Areas within the space are defined by eucalyptus cabinetry elements, as well as floor-to-ceiling sliding pocket doors that offer the ability to segment the space as needed for public and private living. The entire apartment is controlled by Control 4 and Homeworks, with the Owners as knowledgeable contributors to the systems. Our team greatly enjoyed the process of building this project, collaborating on creative solutions to address the building’s inherent constraints.
