Transformation of a mid-century, post-and-beam residence, high in the mountains of Topanga Canyon.
Evan Braun Design, Inc. was asked to rethink both the diagram and the aesthetics of the glass-walled house, which spills three stories down a hillside of native landscaping.
We began with a fresh, new floor plan. Then, collaborating with the owner, we completely recreated the home in materials and finishes rooted in sustainability, responsible use of resources and a contemplative tranquility.
