About Anguilla Park Home
Embarking on the journey to redesign the interior architecture of an apartment presents a unique challenge. This task involves merging new elements seamlessly with the established aesthetic of Soo K. Chan. Chan is the visionary behind Twentyone Angullia Park, a prestigious residential area in Singapore. As we delve into this transformation, our narrative focuses on creating a space that reflects both innovation and heritage.
Designing with Prestige
Firstly, the redesign brief specified the inclusion of elite brands. These brands include Fritz Hansen for furniture, Louis Poulsen for lighting, Lightyears, and Kasthall for accessories. Thus, we embraced this directive, selecting pieces that echo the apartment’s luxurious ethos.
Moreover, the apartment’s architectural features, such as high ceilings (complementing in feet) and tall windows, became our canvas. Here, we introduced bespoke furniture and exquisite boiserie. These elements not only enhance the space’s proportions but also infuse it with character.
A Harmonious Blend of Materials
Additionally, we chose two distinct marbles to elevate the interior’s elegance: Noir Saint Laurent and Carrara. These marbles, known for their beauty and durability, add a touch of sophistication. Furthermore, we incorporated copper-colored mirrors and taupe leather tones. These choices are not arbitrary. Instead, they meticulously play with concepts of texture and tonality. This approach aims to create a design that transcends mere aesthetics, fostering a sense of connection and distinction.
Crafting Connections
In conclusion, the redesign journey of this apartment is a testament to the fusion of traditional and contemporary elements. By integrating specific brands, utilizing the architectural features, and selecting materials with care, we’ve crafted an interior that stands at the intersection of functionality and style. This transformation not only respects the legacy of Soo K. Chan’s design but also propels it into a new era of interior design excellence.
