About Kalamaja

Welcome to a journey through “Kalamaja,” a Scandinavian-style apartment designed by Aet Piel in 2017. Nestled in the heart of Tallinn, Estonia, this residence merges modern sensibilities with the cozy warmth characteristic of northern design.

Sleek Scandinavian Simplicity

Enter the living room, where daylight caresses the minimalist decor. A towering candelabra-style chandelier anchors the space, its bold lines contrasting the soft drapery. The ladder leading to a book-filled loft blends functionality with an air of sophistication.

Refined Comfort

The bathroom speaks of refined elegance. Seamless glass divides the shower, flaunting a rain head that promises rejuvenation. The vanity, devoid of excess, showcases the Scandinavian love for clean, uncluttered spaces.

Creative Harmony

In the bedroom, a simple desk and the strum of a guitar evoke a creative’s retreat. The monochrome palette, punctuated by a hanging robe, creates a tableau of tranquility.

The kitchen, a vision in white, offers a social hub that’s both inviting and chic. Here, culinary arts meet the art of conversation against a backdrop of understated elegance.

“Kalamaja,” Aet Piel’s 2017 design, stands as a testament to the timeless allure of Scandinavian interiors — where every element sings in perfect harmony.
