About Gold Coast Home

Introducing 8 Albatross: A Coastal Gem

Located on the bustling Albatross Avenue, 8 Albatross proudly rises as a three-story duplex. Facing eastward, it offers unrivaled views of the Pacific Ocean.

Multifunctional Façade Design

Adorning its exterior are vertical fins. Impressively, they juggle multiple roles. They not only shield from the sun but also ensure privacy, curate optimal views, and harmoniously scale the building’s form. Central to the project is its responsive façade and context. Engaging with the coastal road and beach is pivotal. While Albatross Avenue teems with competitive duplex designs, this façade sets itself apart. Standing tall with poise, it subtly contrasts the surrounding architectural cacophony. As a result, it exudes a unique blend of confidence and restraint, offering a refreshing, cohesive architectural statement.

Moreover, the subtropical climate of southeast Queensland invites a porous design. Embracing this, 8 Albatross maximizes indoor-outdoor connections through its façade, intimate outdoor nooks, and a welcoming roof garden.

Maximizing Views and Space

Undoubtedly, the Pacific Ocean is the site’s crown jewel. Consequently, the design prioritizes these breathtaking oceanic vistas. Despite space constraints, it artfully balances living areas, aligning them with user experience and optimal orientation.

Inside, 8 Albatross boasts spaciousness and thoughtfulness. It perfectly melds environmental connectivity with much-needed privacy, especially in such a dense suburban setting. Services, circulation, and amenities strategically sit at the heart of the design. This central placement allows communal areas to flow effortlessly outdoors. Residents can savor dual delights: expansive ocean views on one side and a serene street refuge on the other. Lastly, the journey from entry to the core pulses with curated excitement, peaking as views unfold through the architectural veil and the allure of the rooftop garden becomes undeniable.
