Saus Home by Glòria Duran Arquitecte
New construction house by the promoter Cases Singulars de L’Empordà, with a project by the architect and interior designer Glòria Duran Torrellas.
The magnificent house is located on Calle de Les Eres, in a new and small urbanization in the town of Saus, (Alt Empordà, Girona), surrounded by an incomparable natural environment and with views of the Empordà plain.
The house was built in the middle of the pandemic period and the developer, Cases Singulars de L’Empordà, wanted to respond to all the requests that those interested in leaving the big cities were looking for in the Empordà, meeting the most demanding expectations:
– Location: the house is next to the town, with all the basic services at hand
– Situation: that it is sunny and therefore that it is well oriented to the South
– With a private garden (this house has a plot of 1,000 m2)
– With a private pool
– No stairs. This house has a Californian floor plan, all on one floor. Increasingly people do not want stairs, especially if they are clients of a certain age.
– Panoramic views of l ’Empordà
– With garage
– It offers the necessary technology to be able to telework, without the need to be physically in the office.
This new construction detached house is furnished and equipped. It has a total of 200.92 m2 built on a 1,001 m2 plot. The house has 141.47 m2, a porch with a barbecue of 24.15 m2, and a porch for parking of 30.27 m2.
In the daytime area, the architectural elements of the open space naturally delimit the different environments. The kitchen and the distributor with the two-sided furniture where the electrical appliances are integrated, the bar with the stools separate the kitchen and the living room and the fireplace separates the living room and the dining room.
This large space connects through large windows to the porch, which has a barbecue and a seating area and offers magnificent views of the large garden and pool.
In the night area, we find two double bedrooms with custom wardrobes and a desk area, which share a full bathroom and the master suite, with a full bathroom and direct access to the large porch that connects this area with the garden and the pool.
Outside, several elements stand out that harmonize perfectly, the green of the grass, the blue of the water, stone and wood elements, and the natural landscape. The pool has a comfortable brick staircase and an ipe wood solarium area and an outdoor shower.
The house is designed following sustainability criteria such as thermally insulated roofs and floors, windows, and balcony windows with thermal break and low-emission double glazing, an aerothermal system for air conditioning and hot water, installation of water softener, and lighting with Led technology, and home automation system. Its energy certificate is A.
This house is an example of how to bring together the charm of a village house, all the modern comforts, and contemporary interior design in a newly built house of the current design.
