Description
The Bergfrieden residences are located far above the center of Laterns at the end of Mazona Street – away from any hustle and bustle, in an impressive mountain setting. In addition to their residence, the building owners wanted to create a place for relaxation and meetings – one of the houses can be rented as a seminar or vacation home.
The new buildings were designed in mixed construction: The ground-facing base floors were built in solid construction, the ground and upper floors in timber construction. The transparent wooden curtain creates a striking, homogeneous body from the outside and a high degree of transparency from the inside. Warm, filtered daylight and the resulting screening, invite you to relax.
The use of ecological and robust building materials ensures a long service life and creates a positive contribution to sustainability and economy.
