Attic GG is an 11th floor apartment in Milan, Italy, designed by Numero [10] architetti in 2023. The Milan property features custom furniture and sleek lighting fixtures by Davide Groppi and Nemo Lighting. Large windows in the living room offer sweeping views of City Life, the Giuseppe Meazza stadium and the Lombardy mountains, complemented by Italian marble throughout. A central living space is surrounded by two bedrooms, a service area and a master suite with a travertine bathroom.
Attic GG is an 11th-floor apartment located behind Corso Magenta, designed by Numero [10] architetti in 2023. Italian marble, brass and bespoke details characterise the interior, complemented by modern lighting, furniture and artwork.
The home enjoys eastward views of City Life, the Giuseppe Meazza stadium and the Alps beyond, with wide windows furnishing the living room.
The main entrance features a marble floor from Rigo Marmi Rigo Superfici, composed of white Carrara and Green Forest marble. A custom glass and wood door separates the foyer from the main living area.
A small guest bathroom is located off the entryway alongside the coat closet, which has been built into the wall panelling. The half bath includes a Green Forest marble sink, mirroring the dramatic entryway floor.
The main space is home to a white Living Divani Extra Soft sofa, which sits next to a custom plaster fireplace accented with a brass grate. Windows are framed with custom bookshelves and include a Cassina Chaise longue à reglage designed by Le Corbusier in 1928.
The dining room table is made of shaped and bevelled extra-clear glass and lit by two Davide Groppi Simbiosi suspension lamps. The light fixtures continue a pattern set by the arched door, based on the home’s ceilings.
A large painting by artist Chiara del Vecchio hangs behind the glass table, depicting the Teatro alla Scala. A passage off the living room leads to two bedrooms, a large closet, and the main bedroom. Another walkway leads to the kitchen and service area.
Both bedrooms include workspace with custom desks. Glass, wood and brass details are recurring decorative elements present throughout the home.
The primary suite, designed for privacy, includes a spacious walk-in closet leading to an en-suite bathroom, as well as a small balcony facing Santa Maria delle Grazie.
The bathroom is finished with classic cross-cut travertine and Kerakoll resin, both from Rigo Marmi Rigo Superfici. The vanity includes two sinks and is made of travertine. Four Nemo Lighting Crown wall sconces light up the mirror placed above the custom sink.
A workspace with a window view is carved out of the primary bedroom. An orange 1960s Leila table lamp by Verner Panton produced by Collezioni Longato sits on the desk, adding a pop of colour.
The service area of Attic GG can be accessed through a separate entrance and is equipped with a laundry room and another bedroom with a bathroom.
The kitchen is designed by Arclinea, with Fenix green cabinets and a Lava-coloured Quarzotech counter. A small peninsula features stools and space for breakfast, with Davide Groppi Miss pendant lights as the centrepieces.
The design is emblematic of Numero [10] architetti’s keenness for combining modern classic furniture and material with contemporary pieces, creating a bold yet elegant interior.
