Casa Umbral by Taller Estilo Arquitectura

The double height spaces house social areas creating the sensation of a large scale where activities can be developed with freedom and amplitude, while the private and service spaces are of a single height creating a sense of comfort in the first case and functionality in the second.

From the first threshold we cross, the house takes us by the hand to leave the world behind, the first courtyard welcomes us with the slight sound of water making us feel that we have arrived at an oasis of peace and like the ancient fortresses we cross a body of water that leads us into the interior and offers us security and a peaceful life, the next door in the tour is transparent, revealing that through this second magical threshold we have arrived home.

In the access walls and those that create the interior façade, concrete walls with apparent formwork were used to conceptually create a barrier between interior and exterior, a home protected by walls of great strength protecting the interior paradise.

The interior walls and ceilings have a textured coating that allows the spaces to feel natural and alive, as it reflects the passage of time with the light that creates different dimensions throughout the day, all this in conjunction with the architectural elements (columns, lintels, pergolas, etc.).
