Bahia Apartment Brings Mediterranean Vibes to 1970’s Apartment in Spain
This project consisted of the complete renovation of a 1970s apartment located on the seafront, which had remained uninhabited for years and had never been refurbished. Designed by Josep F. Mauri, the intervention sought to balance modernity with Mediterranean essence, using a neutral palette and natural materials. The apartment has been transformed into a contemporary, bright, and functional space—ideal for enjoying the Mediterranean lifestyle.

Renewed Design Balances Modernity and Mediterranean Essence

Bright Interiors Feature Clean Lines and Optimized Spaces
The kitchen, located along the hallway, follows a linear design with white cabinetry and a backsplash of vertical green tiles—the same tiles used in the bathroom—to create a soft, fresh contrast. Black fixtures and integrated appliances contribute to a modern look. LED lighting has been installed under the upper cabinets, highlighting textures and creating a warm, even light.
