Casa Ronga Transforms Penthouse Living in Naples
In Naples, the redesign of a penthouse on the top floor of a recently renovated building transformed this space into an example of sophistication and functionality. The project included a strategic arrangement of spaces, featuring a long corridor that acts as a pendulum between the sleeping area and the living area closer to the terrace, thus creating an elegant environment that beautifully combines form and function.

Visual Depth from An Impressive Sepatum
The dining area features a large table and chairs, illuminated by elegant chandeliers, and situated in front of an impressive septum lined with mirrors. This septum not only gives the space considerable visual depth, but also conceals a concrete pillar and storage cabinet, thus increasing the feeling of spaciousness and openness of the room. Next to this septum, two bookcase columns house various memorabilia and books, mostly from the world of fashion, such as volumes from Vuitton, a trunk from the same brand, and candles from Baobab, creating a refined corner full of personality.

Contemporary design Created From Monochrome Tones
The furniture, all in black – from the sofa to the table, chairs to paneling – contrasts beautifully with the beige walls, creating a refined and modern environment. A touch of irony and dynamism is added by the four dichroic cubes in front of the sofa, made of color-changing dichroic mirror. On each of these cubes are placed Lucie Kass figurines depicting Freddie Mercury, Andy Warhol and Pablo Picasso, adding a touch of pop culture and an intriguing dialogue with the surroundings.

Smoked Canned Glass Door Provides Elegance And Privacy
The door separating the kitchen from the living room is made of smoked canned glass, which adds an additional layer of elegance and discretion, allowing visual separation without compromising brightness and spatial continuity.

An Eclectic Selection Of Artworks Ups The Miami Vibe
The walls of the attic house an eclectic selection of artwork. In the dining area, a vibrant red painting by Vittorio Amadio catches the eye and adds energy to the space. On the sofas, two portraits of elderly people by painter Alma Idrizi lend a strong sense of identity and character. Three small black-and-white photographs from the Carbone photo archive complete the room, offering a nostalgic and evocative glimpse into the past. In the kitchen, three posters by Louis Vuitton in collaboration with internationally renowned architects, including Patricia Urquiola, adorn the walls, while two photographs above the island, by Oliviero Toscani Bazar, add an artistic and contemporary touch.

Long Passageway Treated With Elegantly Textured Wood Paneling
To prevent the person entering from perceiving this configuration as a simple hallway, the passageway has been elegantly treated with paneling of wood paneling, which conceals doors and paneling, giving visual continuity and a feeling of sophisticated elegance. The paneling, some glossy and matte in cream tones, some glossy and matte black, and those in the hallway with three shades of taupe and dark beige, create an abstract geometric pattern that enriches the room with complexity and dynamism.

Bespoke Black, Blue, And Grey Tiles Designed For The Family Bathrooms
The floor of the entire house is parquet, which gives warmth and continuity to the room, except for the bathrooms, designed as small microworlds with 10×10 tiles. The child’s bathroom features light turquoise tones, evoking the sea, the guest bathroom is in shades of gray, and the bedroom bathroom is completely black. This contrast with the parquet flooring amplifies the effect of elegance and consistency of the different rooms.

Black bathroom Tiles Create A Visually Intense Cube Effect
The bedroom is designed with impeccable continuity between the room, the bathroom, and the walk-in closet. The latter, located at the entrance to the room, serves as an antechamber and promotes a smooth transition between spaces. The bathroom, featuring an all-black design, uses 10×10 tiles on the floor, walls and ceiling, creating a cube of tiles with a visually intense effect. The shower, equipped with a smoked glass corner, allows a mutual view between inside and outside, offering privacy without compromising brightness. The sanitary fittings and faucets are black, with the only touch of color represented by Tom Dixon’s gold pendants.

“AMORE” Bench Stands As A Dedication And Visual Celebration
On the terrace, a bench with the three-dimensional inscription “AMORE” stands as a poetic dedication to the city of Naples. Placed in a position that simultaneously embraces the view of the Charterhouse of San Martino and the sea, the inscription looks like a declaration of affection and nostalgia for a city that enchants with its beauty and history. In this quiet corner, “LOVE” becomes a visual celebration of the city, a contemplative thought that connects architecture to the poetry of the urban and natural landscape.
