Irregular Openings Recall Climbing Holds

With its asymmetrical shape and gray plasterwork, this monolithic volume with angular edges evokes a climbing boulder. The irregularly arranged openings recall climbing holds, creating a façade that, like a path, guides the gaze and the ascent. Within this square plan, heated spaces coexist with protected outdoor areas, increasing the size of the living areas while offering an immersive experience in the great outdoors.

Outdoor Spaces Sheltered From Elements, View

Entering through the truncated corner of the volume, one first discovers the outdoor spaces, sheltered from the elements and from view. On the ground floor, walls allow climbers to practice their sport, while a spa invites relaxation between workouts. Upstairs, the terrace offers a welcoming space for cooking and sharing meals while admiring the surrounding nature.

Heated Spaces Benefit Peace, Abundant Light

The heated spaces also extend over several levels. On the ground floor, the bedrooms enjoy the peace and privacy of the surrounding forest. Upstairs, the living spaces benefit from abundant light and unobstructed views of the landscape. Perched above the kitchen, a spacious mezzanine can accommodate a larger number of guests.

Clad In Wood For Visual Continuity With Outdoors

All spaces are clad in wood, creating a harmonious visual continuity between the indoor and outdoor living areas, while contrasting with the raw, mineral character of the building’s exterior.
