The recently remodeled 2024 apartment in Milan by design group Archventil features natural and industrial materials with an intelligent approach to interior design.
Aesthetic and Functionality in Perfect Harmony
The MNR apartment in Milan, designed by creative association Archventil, is a stunning example of spatial innovation. Conceived to welcome travelers in pursuit of comfort, style, and practicality, it offers a carefully considered solution for those traveling or simply for those in favor of smaller spaces. Every component of the apartment was meticulously designed to host and inspire. Spatial challenges were transformed into design opportunities, creating a thoughtful and dynamic space.
The entrance, splashed with a brick-colored wall, sets a warm and welcoming tone. This color continues fluidly throughout the sleeping area, establishing a visual and chromatic fil rouge across the apartment. As one moves towards the living area, the palette transforms into lighter, more neutral tones. Beige and taupe tones blend harmoniously with natural materials and sophisticated finishes, maintaining elegance while ensuring comfort.
Custom Details and Carefully Selected Furnishings
Customization is at the core of the MNR design. Every detail was custom-made with great care, including the steel-framed glass partition, a kitchen and wardrobe made by Centro Veneto del Mobile, and parquet flooring by CP Parquet. Furnishings from well-known brands like Bolzan, Connubia, Kavehome, Leroy Merlin, Westwing, and Zara Home were chosen, blending minimalist aesthetics with utmost comfort.
The recurring visual theme is the circle, appearing in the form of poufs, the dining table, the bathroom mirror, and lighting fixtures in conical and cylindrical shapes. These visual cues contribute a cohesive harmony to the overall design, creating a balanced and rhythmically pleasing space.
Technology and Comfort, Even in Compact Spaces
Technology is seamlessly integrated into the design, ensuring maximum utility without compromising on aesthetics. The kitchen is furnished with high-quality Ariston appliances, including a dishwasher and washer/dryer combo. The sleeping area features a convenient Bolzan storage bed accompanied by a custom wardrobe organized into three sections to facilitate shared use.
Despite being compact, the bathroom is organized elegantly and effectively. It includes an Elleci countertop basin supported by a natural wood surface, Azzurra sanitaryware, Palazzani faucets, and a custom walk-in shower with a glass enclosure. This setup not only enhances the bathroom’s aesthetics but visually expands the space, making it feel more open and airy.

MNR stands as a model example of micro-architecture and emotive design, catering to the mid-to-high-end BNB market with intelligent, comforting, and timeless design solutions. This project, brought to life by Archventil, exhibits the studio’s exceptional ability to not only imagine a space but reimagine it. Creativity, method, and contemporary vision are at the heart of this design, making MNR an urban refuge that enhances every square meter.
