APE GM by 3P Studio
Apartment GM (APE GM) is the result of a full renovation signed by us, 3P Studio, in collaboration with the six hands of the family. Yes — designing a home goes far beyond technique or execution. It’s a process that requires connection, availability, and shared decision-making. When everyone is aligned, the result is a space with identity and soul.

Full Renovation Uniquely Tailored By Joint Decisions And Collaboration
Apartment GM is the result of a full renovation signed by us, 3P Studio, in collaboration with the six hands of the family. Yes — designing a home goes far beyond technique or execution. It’s a process that requires connection, availability, and shared decision-making. When everyone is aligned, the result is a space with identity and soul.
Redesigned Layout Allowed For Addition Of A Suite And A Guest Toilet
In this project, we completely rethought the original layout. The new configuration allowed for the creation of an additional suite, a powder room, and the integration of the kitchen with the entrance hall, living, and dining areas. These changes required demolishing and building walls, repositioning door frames, and adapting infrastructure to the new layout.
Flooring And Wall Coverings Crafted From American Oak Wood
The apartment also received new flooring and wall coverings, as well as a new lighting design. In the social area, the concrete was left exposed, while the private area was lowered with a plaster ceiling, creating subtle contrasts between spaces. For the flooring, we chose American Oak wood, which brings warmth and elegance, contrasting with the neutral finishes of the walls, ceiling, and furniture.
End Result Parses Lifestyle, Tastes, And Memories Of The Residents
The language of a residential project should not be imposed by the architect, but guided by the perspective and essence of those who will inhabit the space. Feeling a sense of belonging in a home is only possible when the choices reflect the residents’ lifestyle, tastes, and memories.
Open Ceiling Design Captivated Residents And Delivered Unique Personality
In this project, the couple led the decision-making — from the color palette to the finishes and textures that shape the rooms. Every choice was intentional, making the space truly their own.
A special highlight was the decision to showcase the apartment’s original structure. The concrete beams and columns only became visible during demolition, but instead of hiding them, the residents were captivated by their presence and chose to leave them exposed. The result is a raw and authentic element that carries history and gives the project a unique personality.
