Dynamic Design Captures Personality and Distinction
The interiors of this house in Katowice’s Brynów district are designed for those who appreciate bold color solutions and seek a space filled with energy yet balanced by harmony. This modern, two-story home opens up to the garden through expansive glazing, successfully combining vibrant colors with a minimalist base and a thoughtful functional layout.
In-House Design Workshop Focused on Bold Collaboration
The project was developed in close collaboration with the owners, who brought clear expectations and inspirations to the table. Through a workshop-based design process using 3D modeling and close coordination with contractors, even the most unconventional ideas were realized—such as the artistic installation in the living room, created in partnership with the Italian brand DeCastelli.
Modern Minimalism Forms backdrop for Vibrant Accents
Modern minimalism—clean lines, uniform materials, and large windows—provides a backdrop for striking details: colorful batik ceilings, veneered staircase cladding, and a mural by a local artist in the garden. A warm, earthy color palette, wood tones, and the seamless connection between the living area, terrace, and garden emphasize the openness and natural character of the space.
Functional Layout Offers Flow and Versatility
The house features a clear and functional layout: the ground floor includes an open living area with a kitchen, dining room, and lounge, as well as a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and direct access to the terrace. The upper floor is dedicated to children’s rooms, a study overlooking the double-height living room, and practical utility spaces.
Customized Elements Respond to Client’s Needs
The interiors are enriched with custom solutions, such as sliding shelves for herbs and spices in the kitchen and an artistic installation of polished copper in the living room. Each room has its own unique character—from the energizing ground-floor bathroom and the cozy, green-toned bedroom to the upstairs bathroom with a colorful tile “rug” and wooden countertop.
Connection of Comfort, Art and Functionality
This is a home for those seeking a unique space that blends functionality, art, and comfort—a place that inspires daily life and gives every resident a sense of individuality and distinction.
