Yuan’s House by Jame Design

Yuan’s House in China is a 2021 house by Jame Design shaped around daily routines rather than fixed room labels. The plan expands the common areas, links the study to nearby rooms, and hides storage within the partitions. Near the living room, one zone shifts between yoga, children’s play, and a temporary guest room, so the home adjusts as family life changes.

About Yuan’s House

Focusing on the owner’s lifestyle, the plan expands the common area and gives each zone a clearer role. The study stays in active contact with the surrounding rooms, while partitions conceal the storage tucked behind them. Near the living room, a more open area shifts with the day, supporting yoga, exercise, children’s play, or a temporary guest room when folding panels close it off.

The layout keeps each functional field connected without erasing its boundaries. Sight lines are handled with care, so everyday movement carries a sense of exchange between rooms. That balance shapes family routines and creates more chances for conversation, letting the house respond to habits instead of forcing them into a fixed pattern.
