This residential interior was designed for a young family in a newly built two-storey house with soaring ceilings and open-plan geometry by Anna Sukhaia in the United Kingdom. The key idea was to balance the impressive scale with warmth, intimacy, and precise functional zoning- while preserving the verticality of the space as a dominant feature.
Located in Merano, Italy, House T2 exemplifies contemporary design through its thoughtful renovation by Monovolume Architecture + Design. Designed in 2024, the house emphasizes spaces that harmoniously connect the interior and exterior, creating a bright and comfortable atmosphere. The interiors showcase a light and natural color palette, with oak parquet flooring adding warmth, complemented by custom-made oak furniture throughout the residence.
River of Life is a house designed by Sandbox Studio in Sydney in 2023. Nestled into Curl Curl, it celebrates an “open and connected modern liveability”. It balances double-pitched forms with the surrounding vernacular while presenting its own distinctive identity through material choices governed by a “sustainable spirit” and dedication to timeless design that honors the landscape.
