The clients presented an extremely narrow site in Thiruvanthapuram, India as part of their design brief. The resultant Narrow Brick House, designed by Srijit Srinivas Architects in 2022, features a house with a generous 117 sq.m. of built-up area on the elongated 283 sq.m. site. The light-touch minimalist approach also finds expression in the various interior design elements like wardrobes, shelving, fenestrations etc– all pared back to the bare minimum required.
Srijit Srinivas Architects designed the Brick Lattice House as a sculptural cuboid in Thiruvananthapuram, India. Built in 2022, the 222 square-metre (2,390 square feet) home features a perforated lattice façade to allow for privacy and air circulation in the crowded urban locale. Defined by a minimalist approach, bespoke furnishings run throughout the house, helping to create a cohesive design in the tight but functional dwelling.

This second home for a joint medical family features a skewed cuboid form, accentuated by a pristine white exterior and thoughtful spatial planning to accommodate their functional needs.
