The primary suite features soft lavender gray plaster and stained oak elements, while outdoor areas are finished in travertine checkerboard.
Previously designed in 1960s, the Dale St House is a family home located in Melbourne, Australia. Designed by Chan Architecture in 2024, the house balances mid-century heritage and modern touches with an updated material palette of natural marble, solid timber, and subtly textured stone tiles, made to blend expertly with the existing bluestone walls. Planned around a central garden and pool, the home features both pre-existing and new structures, creating functional and aesthetically comfortable spaces. Notable features include a preserved mamey tree and a seamless glass element to honor nature.
