Located amid hillside nature, the design removes walls to create a spacious kitchen and living room, transforming a former kitchen into a hobby confectionery. The renovation balances old and new, keeping the building’s history visible by exposing the wooden structure in the living room.

Patricia Martinez Architecture has designed House LWF in São Paulo, Brazil, with a focus on environmental impact reductions. Built with a glued laminated timber (glulam) structure, the home offers panoramic views of São Pedro Beach on the region’s North Coast. The blocks are clad in wood and precast materials, and feature natural lighting from large glass panels. It is designed to integrate with the surrounding natural landscape of the Iporanga Condominium.

Casa 21 is a 240-square-meter apartment designed by Dainelli Studio in Milan, Italy. The interior, set within a historical building, features a refined and contemporary design. Dainelli Studio carefully preserved original elements while incorporating modern details, such as bespoke furnishings and luxurious materials like Breccia Capraia marble and Italian oak parquet, to create a harmonious blend of history and modernity.
