Natural light fills the home through expansive windows and skylights, complemented by large sliding doors that create a seamless flow between indoors and out.

The interior aesthetic combines modern lines with warm wood accents, fostering an inviting atmosphere. The exterior, featuring black metal and warm wood siding, reflects the thoughtful blend of spaces inside.

Massaro House in Mahopac Features Largest Wright Cantilever

Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Massaro House sits on a private island in Mahopac, United States. Realised by Tom Heinz in 2008, the 5,000-square-foot home features a cantilever stretching 75 feet (23 meters) in two directions.

The interior boasts 27 skylights, six fireplaces, and African mahogany details, maintaining Wright’s midcentury design aesthetic throughout. With 15-foot (4.6-meter) ceiling heights, the Massaro House complements the existing Chahroudi cottage built by the architect in 1951.
