On a sloping hillside of Tinos, where the Cycladic landscape is shaped by dry stone walls, stone-built “cells,” and old footpaths, KORDAS Architects designed Villa in Tinos as a discreet vacation house that comprises a main home and an independent guest suite. Built in 2025 and named Emerging Landscape, the residence intertwines architecture and nature in a seamless experience, integrating into the landscape with design elements that prioritize sustainability, immersive experiences, and outdoor living.
Completed in 2023 by Dutch designer Jeroen de Nijs, Villa in the Park is a house located in Alkmaar, Netherlands. The impressive residence features an open-plan layout with an entrance leading to a mezzanine floor as the family’s main living area and was designed with just two materials – wood and microcement – to create an almost Mediterranean atmosphere.

Located in Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica, Seis Patios House is a single-family residence designed in 2025 by VOID. Organised around six patios, the architecture dissolves boundaries between indoors and outdoors, creating spatial layouts that enhance air circulation and natural lighting. Every detail of the design works intimately with the environment and is conceived as a livable gallery, where colour is used expressively, presenting a vibrant contrast in functional areas like bathrooms.
