Located in Canggu, a resort village on the south coast of Bali, Indonesia, The Hollow is a house designed in 2023 by Cowema Studio Architect that reflects a modern tropical architectural style. The villa’s concept derives from the design response to the tropical climate and features a building typology with elements from traditional Balinese architecture, resulting in open spaces that blur the boundaries between the indoor and outdoor areas.

The entrance to the hotel rooms takes place from its west and north side, via the public pedestrian street and through the two main exterior staircases of the complex.
Whidbey Uparati by Wittman Estes is a 1,880-square-foot house located on Whidbey Island, United States. The design emphasizes a contemporary style that blends into the surrounding meadow landscape. This family retreat serves as a space for meditation and bonding, offering a quiet modern escape with panoramic views and a rewilded landscape. Lavasan Villa No.07, located in Tehran, Iran, was designed in 2024 by Amirhossein Tabrizi. Nestled on a 686-square-meter plot, this house features exposed concrete façades and natural wood interiors that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The villa’s layout focuses on privacy and spatial separation, integrating water features and a roof garden while harnessing ample natural light through a large skylight above the staircase.
