Designed in 2024, this stunning single-family home embraces the serene beauty of the Georgian Bay landscape, blurring the line between the built environment and the natural surroundings. With a focus on connecting the cottage to the undulating shoreline, the design aims to remove any sense of division, allowing the tranquility of the lakeside setting to permeate the interior spaces.

The Badlands Home, a beautifully designed house located in Toronto, Canada, is the latest project from the BLDG Workshop.

Surrounded by the rolling hills of Caledon Ontario, the house was designed to frame views over the countryside while also paying homage to the local Caledon Badlands. Clean minimalistic volumes and white vinyl windows give the house a bright, fresh look that complements the many months of snow the area gets.
