Square House is a residence located in Genk, Belgium. Designed by Cocoon Architecten in 2017, this house combines transparency and privacy through spatial planning, utilizing a central inner courtyard to flood the home with light while shielding it from neighbors. This approach emphasizes a contemporary Japanese design aesthetic, exemplified by a Washitsu, or Japanese room, where old and new elements converge.
