Architecture firm Halel Arch has upgraded the interiors of Canada Israel, a home in Ra’anana, Israel, to incorporate elements of North American design. The home, initially purchased by a Canadian couple, was transformed to match their preferred aesthetic. The design, led by architect Shira Muskal, incorporates herringbone pattern parquet flooring, a stylish kitchen, black aluminium profiles, and dynamic natural granite surfaces, all while ensuring a seamless indoor-outdoor connection.

Alta Vista Residence by Alterstudio Architecture is nestled in Austin’s Travis Heights neighborhood. Designed in 2020, the residence incorporates live oaks and concrete walls for privacy and engagement with the surroundings. The interior features board-formed concrete and rift-sawn white oak, opening up to the outdoors with sliding panels and creating a serene natural enclave within the bustling city. The design counterbalances the area’s rising density with a focus on light, material, and subtlety.

Life Down A Lane, a house in Melbourne’s Richmond neighbourhood designed by Tom Robertson Architects, features a central courtyard. The contemporary family home is surrounded by neighbours, necessitating a design that balances privacy with openness. The living spaces are elevated for increased sunlight, while the interiors contrast monochromatic exteriors with light tones.

Robust external forms open to the courtyard, providing a focal point and ensuring security. Central spaces include a sculpted marble island in the kitchen and a dramatic full-height window for exterior views.

Sena House is positioned on a corner lot in Nordelta, Buenos Aires, Argentina, boasting privileged river views. Designed by Remyarchitects in 2024, the home features three dynamic levels. Travertine cladding unifies the space, creating a cohesive experience. A double-height living room serves as the organising nucleus, with social areas extending in two directions. The upper levels house bedrooms and multipurpose areas, offering panoramic views and ensuring privacy for each family member.
