Casa Nau 64 settles beside the Óbidos Lagoon in Portugal, where [i]da arquitectos aligns the house with stone pines and wind off the water. The project organizes a single-family house into measured horizontal layers that answer sun, shelter, and garden in equal measure, turning a tight coastal plot into a quiet, outward-looking retreat.

In Lisbon, [i]da arquitectos designed Casa do Poço, a house that retains original architectural elements from its 1940s context and emphasises constructive contradictions. The residence, situated in the Encarnação neighbourhood – a small house scheme built as a public initiative to address a housing shortage in the city – features a simplicity celebrated by a preserved façade and a restructured interior that accommodates a courtyard and an outbuilding.
