The Fienile Cocchi residential project converted a barn that has a history dating back several centuries. Located in Reggio Emilia, Italy, the house was designed by SBAR – Salonia Baldin Architettura. The team restores a historic 300 sqm (3,229 sq ft) barn while introducing a contemporary glazed volume, allowing natural light to fill the spaces. While Joao Martins created the interior design, the project was completed in 2024.

The living space of the CASA FL apartment in Milano, Italy, results from the design of KICK.OFFICE, who completed the project in 2022. An 80-square-metre apartment located on the third floor of an early postwar bâtiment on Viale Beatrice D’Este in Milan has been the subject of a careful refurbishing intervention designed by Depaolidefranceschibaldan Architetti. The renovation celebrates the building heritage by preserving the original partitions while introducing a hyper-contemporary element with a functional box containing the kitchen and services, creating a dynamic and contrasting environment.
