Kand-kaav Villa sits in Mashhad, Iran, where Abar Office shapes a weekend house around steep terrain and a seasonal river. The project embraces the slope with layered ground planes and a discreet glass entry while pushing a more exploratory sequence inside. What reads as a compact house from above unfolds as a network of rooms, terraces, and corridors tuned to gathering, retreat, and the climate.

Radan House, a 2023 project by the Archigram Group, reinterprets a 120-square-meter apartment in Mashhad, Iran. Designed for a young couple, it skillfully integrates work and home through its unique materials and expressions. “Living areas,” says the studio, “interweave a range of experiences, blending a formal lifestyle with a warm and friendly atmosphere; the interweaving of these experiences within a defined context is a natural and inseparable aspect of contemporary human life.”
