Characterised by a reinforced concrete structure and east-facing garden, the house connects to its landscape seamlessly. Inside, natural wood slats provide a cosy ambiance, while large glazed openings allow natural light to continuously transform the spaces. The interior layout is divided into social and private areas, with bedrooms on the first floor overlooking a pool.
The DX House in Hanoi by X11 Design Studio features a jewel-inspired facade reflecting daily light changes. This minimalist home’s shared living areas and bedrooms, accommodate three generations, connected through a central skylight and garden rooftop. The home incorporates Middle Eastern and Nordic elements, with a focus on sustainability through the use of Hempcrete. The project involved creating an open-plan living space for an urban couple, with areas for socialising, working, and relaxing. StudioMadera aimed to provide natural light and ventilation while offering a mix of industrial and cosy aesthetics in the updated interiors.
