MGK | Studio reimagines an early 20th-century apartment in Rome’s Testaccio neighborhood to cater to a new clientele. Maintaining the original layout, Marmorata Apartment features a central spine, restored, exposed-brick vaults, and a distribution filter, dividing the space into a living area and two separate suites. Unified color schemes, furniture, and art, including Davide Groppi lighting and Salvatori marble pieces, reflect a vintage and contemporary mix. A balance of past and present architecture and decor defines the restyled interior.

For the Casa Polly residence in Rome, architecture and interior design studio 02A Studio introduced a balance between the home’s original “raw” aesthetic and the occupants’ preference for softer details. Designed with a combination of existing elements and new decor pieces, the team refreshed the 120-square-metre apartment to best fit the needs of its newest residents.

In the heart of Rome’s Vittoria neighborhood, 02A Studio has reimagined a 100-square-meter apartment within the historic I.C.P. housing complex designed by Innocenzo Sabbatini in 1925. Celebrating the property’s distinctive Venetian terrazzo floors and abundant natural light, the elegant renovation blends classic Italian charm with modern sensibilities, creating a harmonious “hygge” atmosphere.
