Muxarabi House unfolds in Granja Viana, Brazil, as a warm yet refined house by Paula Aveiro Arquitetos. The interiors lean on wood, travertine navona and sandy tones to shape a generous setting for a family that enjoys gathering. Across two floors, the project uses muxarabi panels, planted walls and expansive glazing to stitch rooms together while keeping each daily ritual distinct and quietly expressive.
Penthouse West crowns a 1968 office block in Rotterdam, Netherlands, with a glass-box home and restored Modernist bones. Powerhouse Company leads the conversion, turning a neglected address into a layered apartment building capped by their own family penthouse. The project pairs engineering finesse with a lush material palette, drawing on Midcentury Modern cues and post-war Rotterdam finishes to frame long skyline views while bringing the building’s original character back into focus.
Studio Toggle has recently completed in 2024 a private villa called Rawda Radiance in Al Rawda, Kuwait. Elevated on a travertine plinth, the villa features white plaster, stone cladding, and louvres for privacy and sun protection. The design includes an integrated swimming pool visible from all public areas, enhancing the home’s microclimate and ambiance.
Inside, travertine floors, wood accents, and strategically placed lighting create a warm, minimalist atmosphere. Balconies and compact planning maximize natural light and space efficiency.
