Revitalizing a Barcelona Gem
Nestled on Diagonal Avenue, Barcelona, this 300 m² house received a complete interior transformation.
Reimagining with Purpose
The goal: fashion open, functional spaces and infuse character into a previously uninspiring dwelling.
Preserving the Past, Embracing the Future
Owners insisted on preserving the house’s structure while modernizing it. Spaces were revamped, returning it to its core essence. Smart home and audiovisual systems, including a standalone music controller, were seamlessly integrated.
Harmonizing Distinct Zones
In the heart of the house, three interconnected yet distinct zones emerged. The living area retained its original fireplace, now exuding contemporary elegance. Adjacent, a cozy reading and music space accommodates the owners’ passion for literature and piano. Sliding glass doors divide the kitchen and dining areas, fostering visual cohesion.
Timeless Elegance in Design
A palette of serene, understated hues pervades. Microcement graces the kitchens and bathroom. Every design choice converges to establish an enduring, harmonious aesthetic.
