About La Ventana
Located in one of Monterrey’s most exclusive residential areas, this residence in San Pedro Garza García represents the continuation of a strong and sophisticated architectural vision developed by architect Gilberto Lozano of the GLR firm. The interior design project takes the modern-contemporary language proposed by the architecture and takes it to the last detail, carefully considering every texture, tone, and material to express a luxurious, cosmopolitan, and functional lifestyle.
Interior Design, Materials and Finishes
The interior design reflects a modern and sophisticated style, with each finish carefully selected to reflect a high-end lifestyle. White marble flooring and black marble accents, wood-clad walls, ventilated panels with metallic accents, and a warm, focused lighting system create an enveloping, serene, and luxurious atmosphere. The interplay of dark and light materials creates subtle contrasts that emphasize the depth and spaciousness of the space.
The high-end furniture was custom-designed for each space, carefully considering proportion, scale, and functionality. Fabrics, leathers, woods, and textures were carefully chosen to not only complement the architectural surroundings but also provide a sense of refined comfort and aesthetic continuity throughout: from the formal dining room with its built-in wine cellar and polished black stone walls, to the bedrooms, which convey calm through neutral tones and natural wood paneling. Finally, the outdoor terrace becomes a vital extension of the interior design, featuring clean-lined furniture and outdoor-resistant textiles, framed by an unparalleled panoramic view of the Monterrey skyline.
This project is a synthesis of architectural precision and interior design sensibility, where the collaboration between disciplines resulted in a residence that celebrates design at all levels.
