The 436 Indiana Street house is a single-family residence located in the Pinkney neighborhood of Lawrence, Kansas, United States. Designed and built from the ground up by the students of Studio 804, it meets the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Platinum Standards. This sustainable and modern home integrates history with sustainable design while providing easy access to shopping, dining, and cultural experiences in downtown Lawrence.

House for BEES, a house located in Mosman, Australia, was designed in 2021 by Downie North Architects. Driven by shared values of connectedness, site-specificity, place making and passive design, House for BEES encompasses a refined addition directly connected to the garden. Conceived as a garden room, the design directly grounds and orients the occupants toward their garden. Kitchen, living and dining spaces are lightly contained by a floating roof.
This compact but stylish apartment in Brasília, Brazil, features the work of local studio BLOCO Arquitetos, who focused creativity on light-filled decor utilising reclaimed wood, exposed concrete and modern accessories. The home measures 68 m² (732 sq ft), and the considerable redevelopment included the removal of many of the home’s interior walls and the refitting of the apartment’s entire layout.
