Milan-based architecture and design studio m2atelier unveils the interior design of a private, design-forward residence housed inside one of Mario Botta’s iconic buildings in the Lecco town of Merate. Working hand-in-hand with discerning clients, m2atelier crafted a multi-level home that responds to Botta’s monumental architecture with softness, spatial elegance, and sculptural restraint—an interplay of legacy and lifestyle, precision and poetry.
Casa Concordia is a residential building located in Bolzano, Italy, designed by AREA Architetti in 2020. It’s part of an urban regeneration project that replaces a cinema and creates 22 housing units, as well as an underground garage for 40 cars.
Creating the ideal home for a young and dynamic family from scratch, responding to their needs and requirements: this was the challenge that characterized the project, overseen by architects Paolo Neè and Giovanni Battista Sarnico for all the exteriors and followed by Zenucchi Design Code for the interior.

Located in Canggu, a resort village on the south coast of Bali, Indonesia, The Hollow is a house designed in 2023 by Cowema Studio Architect that reflects a modern tropical architectural style. The villa’s concept derives from the design response to the tropical climate and features a building typology with elements from traditional Balinese architecture, resulting in open spaces that blur the boundaries between the indoor and outdoor areas.
Aviator’s House is located in São José dos Campos, Brazil, designed by Castellari Arquitetura. The real estate type is a house, and the design style employed reflects Brazilian modernism legacy. The project features a sleek, curved form with a rammed earth wall for privacy, emphasizing connectivity, natural light, and local materials.
Canaves Hotel is a hotel located in Oía, Greece, designed by Kapsimalis Architects in 2025. The small hotel is located in the traditional village of Oia, on the island of Santorini, facing south to the Volcano and to the Aegean Sea, standing on the cliffs of the Caldera. The entrance to the hotel rooms takes place from its west and north side, via the public pedestrian street and through the two main exterior staircases of the complex.
Casa Talaia, located in Cadaqués, Spain, is designed in 2023 by Estudio Bombí+Gómez. The house balances Mediterranean aesthetics with contemporary elements, creating an environment that is functional and warm while seamlessly integrating with the surrounding landscape. Characterized by natural materials and a minimalist touch, it reflects the serenity of the Mediterranean and meets modern needs for an exceptional living experience.
