Villa Icaria, a 2024 house in Guadalajara, Spain, was designed by Arquitectura Al Descubierto as a utopian proposal. The project’s volumes intertwine with nature, using local materials and engaging a rural organicism.

Patricia Martinez Architecture has designed House LWF in São Paulo, Brazil, with a focus on environmental impact reductions. Built with a glued laminated timber (glulam) structure, the home offers panoramic views of São Pedro Beach on the region’s North Coast. The blocks are clad in wood and precast materials, and feature natural lighting from large glass panels. It is designed to integrate with the surrounding natural landscape of the Iporanga Condominium.

Dduddu House & Ajour Cafe in South Korea, designed by PLS Architects in 2022, combines exposed concrete and white-painted facades. The project integrates a home and a cafe, reflecting the owner’s desire to create a space centered around their child. The unique design reinterprets local planning guidelines to harmonize commercial and residential functions, featuring a layout that balances public and private spaces.

Set on Portugal’s Costa Vicentina near the town of Aljezur, Casa do Sul is a white block with an L-shaped plan that embraces its setting while opening up to farmlands and the ocean. Distinção and Serra round out the home’s mix of warm woods and natural tan hues. Both names reference an Alentejo word for slope and are characterized by sloping shapes – the furnishings are inspired by the “easy-going beach life of the musicians, surfers, and farmers who call Costa Vicentina home”.

Located in Punta Negra (Carrilleros), Mexico, Kupuri 27 is a sanctuary designed by Módica Ledezma that employs rustic materials in a blend with nature. Indoor and outdoor spaces resonate through crafted spaces that celebrate minimalism, adorned with their ochre flooring and clay-tiled surfaces, while the direct connection to the tropical garden and the sweeping view of the Pacific Coast remain ever-present.

Signature Space, a villa in Ra’anana, Israel, was designed by Liad Yosef in 2025. The house features a sharp monochromatic palette, contrasting materials, and maximises natural light with its glass elements.

The front facade is covered with grey porcelain tiles, while the interior blends smooth and grooved black veneer panels, basalt stone, and light porcelain flooring. Signature Space also showcases spacious living areas and a well-maintained yard, reflecting an elegant and refined aesthetic.
