Involving early-stage construction of only the pillars and floors, the studio shaped the open-plan spaces based on the owners’ current lifestyles and needs, with an exclusive indoor-outdoor dynamic.
Lo Strobilabo is located in the original basement of a 1920s villa in Rome, Italy, featuring design by Francesca Delicato. Dancing Light is a house located in Paradise Valley, Arizona, United States. Set in the desert, this home utilizes indigenous materials and emphasizes natural light, designed by Kendle Design Collaborative in 2016. This residential project dedicates more square footage to a museum-grade showroom housing the owner’s remarkable collection of restored custom classic cars than it does to the living quarters.
