Ático Curvo features a glass facade, living room, kitchen and bedrooms that share the view, and further blur indoors and outdoors with a terrace replicating interior functions. A sculptural staircase uncovers construction details. This design also features a sloping roof, natural wood ceiling, soft-toned mortar walls, double-height ceiling, solarium, outdoor bath, open kitchen, black curved iron surfaces and natural wood.

The Unplanned Domestic Prototype critically explores the transformative potential of the property. Modern domestic needs are the focus of this project that challenges standardized principles and reimagines living spaces in the 21st century.

The apartment was transformed into a flexible, multifunctional environment adaptable to the changing needs of contemporary life. Rather than reinforcing the static nature of the original design, it integrates architectural possibilities that celebrate diverse social interactions.

SMA Architetti has completed the refurbishment of the Attic G-24 apartment in Varese, Italy. The project revised an existing, incomplete structure into a cohesive space defined by geometry and formal continuity.

The duplex-style design connects the levels with a striking staircase and features an interior filled with artisan materials and contemporary flourishes like inset lighting and slot windows. The top floor captures uninterrupted views across the long, narrow space, while the lower level perimeter is entirely utilised for key functions.
