Casa BNF by I Love My Home Offers Scenic Views of Torino Hills

Casa BNF, designed by I Love My Home, is a Turin house with sweeping views of the hills, first constructed in 2024. The designers revamped the 1970s layout, focusing on natural light and open spaces. Notable features include lacquered wood paneling and a glass door partition. The revamped living area opens into an airy kitchen, and an apartment-width terrace extends beyond the living room. Both bedrooms have en suites, while the primary also incorporates a walk-in closet.

In Spain’s capital, Pulso Estudio reinterpreted the classic layout of an apartment with contrasting wooden and concrete surfaces. Designed in 2024, House RM incorporates liquid and multi-purpose domestic areas with a smooth transition between.

At the entrance, the living-dining space opens to an interior courtyard, while the bedrooms are placed along the foyer. Subtle and tactile contrasts run throughout the interiors, including polished concrete, wooden finishes, glass walls and textural textiles.

For the Casa Polly residence in Rome, architecture and interior design studio 02A Studio introduced a balance between the home’s original “raw” aesthetic and the occupants’ preference for softer details. Designed with a combination of existing elements and new decor pieces, the team refreshed the 120-square-metre apartment to best fit the needs of its newest residents.

Melbourne studio Blur Architecture has added a copper-clad extension to a Victorian townhouse in the South Yarra suburb of Melbourne, Australia, with features such as an elevated lap pool and a glass corridor that connects the old and new buildings.

Blur Architecture used materials including weathered copper, glass, steel, bluestone pavers and concrete for Davis, which was designed for a homeowner who wanted to improve their exercise and swimming routine at the house.
