Maison TO sits in Sari-Solenzara, France, within the small hamlet of Togna between the sea and the mountains. Designed by Isabelle Berthet Bondet, the house draws on the rugged typology of traditional sheepfolds while leaning into a contemporary stance. From the outset in 2018, Maud Caubet’s approach was to integrate the house into its environment, utilizing local resources and embracing the site’s existing character. The house, located in Lit-et-Mixe, France, is designed in contemporary style.
Set among the lush terrain of France, the H Project, envisioned by Margot Aurensan Architecte, enchants with its clean lines and grace. The building’s facade, made from charred timber, skillfully integrates with the densely forested backdrop. This deliberate selection does more than elevate the visual charm; it also guarantees that the residence harmonizes with its organic environment.
