This project consisted of the complete renovation of a 1970s apartment located on the seafront, which had remained uninhabited for years and had never been refurbished. Designed by Josep F. Mauri, the intervention sought to balance modernity with Mediterranean essence, using a neutral palette and natural materials. The apartment has been transformed into a contemporary, bright, and functional space—ideal for enjoying the Mediterranean lifestyle.

Casa Flora is a 70-square-metre apartment renovation in Bologna, Italy, designed by Jessica Pinotti in 2021. The project features natural materials and vibrant shades of green and pink, creating a light and restful atmosphere. The minimalist design draws inspiration from Mediterranean coastal houses. Key changes include an open-plan kitchen-living space and reconfigured hallway, accommodating the living area, study, and bedroom. The space emphasizes natural finishes and textures, offering a contemporary, airy feel throughout.

Situated in Santa Monica, California, the residence styled “Spanish Revival” and crafted by Ferguson & Shamamian Architects enchants visitors with its deep Mediterranean influences. Built in 2013, this breathtaking abode emerged from a necessity for stability and safety in California’s earthquake-prone zones.

The homeowners shifted from their beloved but imperfect Mediterranean dwelling, adopting a refreshed vision inspired by the captivating villages scattered throughout the Spanish countryside.
