This luxury residence has been renovated, altering the residence, which was originally built in 1928. It boasts generous living areas, 5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a pool and spa. The use of full height windows allow the space to be open and lighter drawing the garden indoors, however the placement of these openings had to be carefully thought out in order to avoid compromising the retreat atmosphere which pervades the entire abode. The use of natural materials greatly enhances the rustic heredity of the house.

Castello di Reschio is a very private estate that covers 2,700 acres of Umbrian countryside on the border with Tuscany, Italy. Scattered around this unspoilt landscape are 50 farmhouses that seem as ancient as the hills. To date a dozen or so have been beautifully restored for clients to create private houses. Each home is unique and has been created and furnished by the owners of Castello di Reschio, Count Antonio Bolza and two generations of his family who live in the 11th century Castello and run this magnificent estate.
The Villa Arrighi, a 6,600-square-foot retreat featuring six bedrooms, six bathrooms, a large entertaining kitchen, and a swimming pool is one of those meticulously restored farmhouses. It accommodates up to 12 guests and can be rented all year round, from $23,000 to $30,000 per week, depending on the season.
Cape Town-based studio SAOTA – Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects has designed the La Lucia residence in collaboration with interior design studio Antoni Associates. This holiday beach house is located on the North Coast of the KwaZulu Natal province in South Africa. The building has been sensitively designed to gently nestle between protected milkwood trees, in an area that has strict environmental controls. The Interiors by Antoni Associates express simplicity and restraint while making the home comfortable and cosy. Sand-coloured polished concrete floors, bleached timber, natural leathers and grey linens, are anchored by soft neutrals and countered with touches of charcoal, teal and azure.
Riverview Gardens Residence designed by Bercy Chen Studio is a series of three identical houses located in Austin, Texas, one block north of Lake Austin. The homes were inspired by Hamilton pool, a deep natural escarpment which forms a dramatic waterfall near Austin.
W Retreat and Residences Koh Samui by Maps Design is the first W Retreat in Southeast Asia. An all-villa beachfront resort, it is located on a 26-acre site on Maenam Beach, at the north shore of the island of Koh Samui. The retreat features 70 villas, each approximately 160 sq m, W’s signature Living Room and Lounge and a Signature Spa. There are also 17 private residences, each between 700 sq m to 1, 300 sq m on plots ranging from 1,000 to 2,500 sq m, all with sweeping sea views.
