In the historic center of Ploaghe, Italy, domECO has designed a modern house featuring a dialogue between old and new architecture. The project utilises balanced volumes and carefully placed openings to breathe life into an existing building, creating a warm, sophisticated interior with an elegant and understated material palette. Every detail is designed to ensure easy movement and comfort across all levels of the home.
Located in Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica, Seis Patios House is a single-family residence designed in 2025 by VOID. Organised around six patios, the architecture dissolves boundaries between indoors and outdoors, creating spatial layouts that enhance air circulation and natural lighting. Every detail of the design works intimately with the environment and is conceived as a livable gallery, where colour is used expressively, presenting a vibrant contrast in functional areas like bathrooms.
