This address was designed to be a home in a gated community occupied mainly by leisure refuges, in the interior of São Paulo. The house sits on the contour lines of the plot like a pair of wings. Passarelli Arquitetos balanced a horizontal and intriguing project where straight lines predominate. While blending into the landscape, the house maintains its intimacy by means of its architectural features like its wide eaves, pergolas, and others.
The United States-based Flower design team transformed a 1950s Boulder bungalow into a distinctive getaway featuring preserved steel-frame windows and sleek cabinetry walls. The revamped post-war structure maintains its original facade while introducing an open-plan interior layout that spills onto a deck with Flatiron views.
