About VR Villa

Creative Approach to Challenging Topography

Facing a unique challenge with a 25-meter (82 feet) elevation difference, our design approach took an unconventional turn. Viewing the site as a structured architectural masterpiece, we mimicked the natural rolling contours in our design.

Harmonizing Structure with Nature

At the heart of our design are two vast, sheet-like roofs. Seemingly light yet sturdy, these roofs cleverly divide the building into two levels. Below, we find welcoming living spaces, and above, cozy bedrooms await. The building’s pre-stressed white concrete tests the limits of flexibility, adding an intriguing element. Moreover, the roof’s unique design, appearing to split and crack, ingeniously welcomes natural light inside.

Illuminating Design

Inside, the effect is stunning. Sunlight filters through the roof’s artistic openings, casting a dance of light and shadow. This feature not only beautifies the space but also creates a seamless connection with nature. The result? A space that’s both innovative and deeply in tune with its natural surroundings.
