Spectacular Clifftop Architecture in Mallorca
Voltor 16, a project by Signature Group, stands majestically on the cliffs of Puigderros in South Mallorca, offering stunning Mediterranean Sea views. This building uniquely combines contemporary design with regional touches, like hand-carved stones in its lower walls. Its east and west outer walls extend past the upper floor, creating a fluid transition between outdoor and indoor spaces.
Cleverly Designed Spaces for Unmatched Views
The building divides into two areas, linked by a double-height lobby—the central access point to all house levels. A bridge connects the two parts on the upper level. Each room boasts large sliding windows, doubling as doors, to frame the Bay of Palma’s endless blue vistas. This design maintains the house’s sleek, flowing aesthetic.
Blending Water Features and Architecture
Water features on the ground level accentuate the outdoor-indoor flow. A pond leads from the main gate to the front door, while a waterfall cascades over a stone wall in the lobby. Part of the bodega’s ceiling in the basement is glass, revealing the waterfall’s pool.
