About Glynin Residence
A Unique Russian Retreat: Defying Conventions
Just 90 kilometers (about 56 miles) from Moscow, stands a distinctive private house in the Lake Side cottage village of Istra. While the community follows a specific architectural blueprint, this house boldly deviates.
Crafting a Photographer’s Vision
Designed for a renowned Russian photographer, the residence mirrors his unique personality. It also prioritizes practicality and comfort.
Thoughtful Design and Spacious Interiors
This two-story abode boasts a ground floor of 200 sq.m (about 2152 sq.ft) of living space and a 70 sq.m (about 753 sq.ft) veranda. Here, you’ll find the living room, kitchen, and dining area. The spa section, complete with a meditation zone, links to the owner’s bedroom via a broad corridor.
Guest Haven on the Upper Floor
The second floor, with 50 sq.m (about 538 sq.ft) of living space and a sprawling 200 sq.m (about 2152 sq.ft) veranda, welcomes guests. It offers two separate bedrooms, each with its private veranda.
Embracing Minimalism and Order
Sparse furnishings and decor cultivate a sense of coziness, organization, and purity. Minimalism, expansiveness, and simplicity define this project’s essence.
