About The Langham
Langham’s Luxurious Urban Resort: A Glimpse
Located in Surfers Paradise’s Yugambeh Country, The Langham stands as a 5-star luxury Urban Resort Hotel for Langham Hotels and AWJ. This beachfront gem boasts panoramic coastal views and a picturesque glimpse into the hinterland. Notably, the hotel offers a range of upscale amenities: from ballrooms, restaurants, and a spa to guest suites and a dedicated kids play area.
Embracing Architectural Excellence
PTW actively shaped The Langham’s character, delivering both architectural and interior design services. Renowned internationally, PTW crafted an impeccable design. They seamlessly blended hotel aesthetics with the hospitality world, introducing innovative ideas that mirror the locale and enhance guest experiences.
Design Inspiration: Marrying Local with Luxury
At its core, the design draws from the iconic ‘Queenslander’ architecture. Timber and ironwork detailing shine, coupled with a light, airy style. This fusion celebrates both the sub-tropical climate and the pristine beach location, all while preserving The Langham’s signature elegance.
Collaborative Brilliance: Key Players
The project reflects a synergy between Studioaria, PTW, and DBI Design. Studioaria took the helm for spaces like the Lobby, Palm Court, and the Spa. Conversely, PTW shaped the Guestrooms, Gym, and Bridal Suite. While PTW oversaw tender documentation, DBI steered construction documentation and on-site implementation.
