About Bomar Residence

A Calming Transformation

Soft, calming, and minimalist aesthetics define interior designer Han Dang’s home in Houston’s Midtown area. Han, the co-founder of Very Handsome Studio, spent six months transforming her three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath residence. She gave it a modern, yet minimalist facelift.

Upgraded Finishes and Lighting

Han replaced outdated finishes with lighting from Lumen and Visual Comfort. She added modern furnishings from Design Within Reach and custom upholstery by Pillow Punk.

Contrasting Elements

Newly stained dark wood floors now contrast with light furniture and subtle paint throughout the home. This combination creates a perfect space to unwind and relax.

Pet-Friendly Design

Han’s British Shorthair cat, Momo, loves curling up on the Rove Concept sofa. Cleanable and scratch-resistant materials ensure the home is both stylish and practical.
